AAA Blue Jackets Golf Outing

We are excited to be hosting our annual golf outing presented by Tansky Sawmill Toyota and Tansky Powersports at The Club at Tartan Fields on Monday, August 19, 2024! The Club features an award winning Arnold Palmer Signature Course and will make for a phenomenal experience.
Proceeds from this outing will benefit the operation of Ohio AAA Blue Jackets to reduce costs for all families and the program's scholarship fund for players in need. Your support has a direct IMPACT on the experience and development of our players!

With a full course, it is important to keep the pace of play moving and everyone entertained/engaged throughout the day. Follow below to learn about what we will be doing on the course throughout your round.
Mulligan Package
$100 PER FOURSOME
If you want to prepay for your group's mulligan package, please use the general donations button below
Play to win, have fun, support the program and keep the pace of play moving!
Package includes the following benefits for your group:
- No score worse than par on any hole
- All putts inside the length of the flagstick are considered "good". You must count the stroke
- Play 1 hole of your choice from the red tees (closest)
- 1 free throw - per player
- 1 free foot wedge (kick) - per player
- 1 mulligan - per player
HOLE 1
RAFFLE HOLE
Hall of Fame Hockey Moms Dawn Vogelhuber and Jane Kuraly will be present selling raffle tickets.
Raffle items will be on display at check in. Participants will be able to place their tickets into baskets of desired items. Winners will be drawn at the post golf reception.
The menu of raffle items will be emailed on Sunday. If you have something that you would like to contribute, it is not too late!
Event Lit, Columbus' marquee letter rental company, will have a display for pictures. Their light up letter rental service provides a beautiful selection of marquee numbers and letters that illuminate any event.
HOLE 4
LONG DRIVE COMPETITION
- Long drive champions for the day will be named for both men and women!
Winners will receive custom OBJ branded apparel
HOLE 6
BEAT THE PRO COMPETITION WITH BACK SWING GOLF
Challenge Back Swing Golf professional Maddie Hensley for a competitive and fun spin on a closest to the pin contest!
Girls Hockey Director Kerry Bowman and OBJ alumna and assistant coach Elie Fallieras will be present on this hole.
Proceeds raised on this hole will benefit our girls program!

HOLE 8
CLOSEST TO THE PIN WITH CARSON MEYER & ERIC DOP
- Play with OBJ alumni Carson Meyer and Eric Dop!
- A former Blue Jacket, Meyer just signed with the Anaheim Ducks. Dop was a standout goaltender at Bowling Green and Boston College.
- Meyer had his first career hole-in-one on this hole at last year's event!
- Closest to the pin champion for the day will receive a prize!
HOLE IN ONE PRIZE
- Make a hole-in-one and win a vacation for four (4) at the exquisite Lajita Golf Resort & Spa in Lajitas, TX courtesy of Tansky Sawmill Toyota!
HOLE 11
GOLF BALL CANNON LAUNCHER
- Cannon Man Dylan Von Deylen is back! Fire darts with the powerful and accurate golf ball cannon and try to drive the green!
This experience is brought to you by Chuck Thuss and Compassionate Connection.
Chuck works closely with our players as a part of the Beyond the Ice Program. which is focused on providing education, resources and support to our players, coaches and parents to grow and develop off of the ice.
It is our goal to be able to provide these additional growth opportunities for everyone in our program at no additional cost to our families through the Holly Frank Excellence Fund.
18U Head Coach Nate Handrahan and player Willem Frank will also be present on this hole.
HOLE 15
SHOOT & SCORE WITH KIEFER SHERWOOD
- Putt with OBJ alumnus and current Vancouver Canuck Kiefer Sherwood! Also joining Kiefer on this hole are current 18U players and longtime AAA Blue Jackets, Luke Hall, Lucas Goodfellow and Cooper Struckel.
- All players must putt with a hockey stick on the green. If you score for your team, you will receive 10 free raffle tickets!
- Closest to the pin champion for the day will receive a prize!

- Make a hole-in-one and win a 6 person golf cart courtesy of Tansky Powersports!
HOLE 17
QUEBEC FUNDRAISER WITH SEAN KURALY
- Play with OBJ alumnus and current Blue Jacket assistant captain Sean Kuraly
- Our 12U (2012) team will be selling raffle tickets for a Yeti & Booze Raffle to support the team's pursuit of the prestigious Quebec International Pee Wee Tournament.
- The player in each group that is closest to the pin will receive a prize!
- Closest to the pin champion for the day will receive a prize!

- Make a hole-in-one and win a choice of a Swing Caddie SC200 Portable Launch Monitor or L4 Laser Rangefinder with slope courtesy of Tansky Sawmill Toyota!

The Ohio AAA Blue Jackets program prides itself on being the premier youth hockey program in Ohio. With an every day mission to develop our student-athletes to reach their potential on and off of the ice, the program aims to provide a healthy and safe environment for the elite player to grow as a player, person and teammate through the great game of hockey.
