
Gingher commits to St. Norbert

2004 born alumnus Ryan Gingher has committed to play Division III hockey at St. Norbert College for the 2025-26 season.
A native of Dublin, Gingher is currently in his third full season playing junior hockey in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). This season, Gingher has tallied 8 goals and 20 points in 44 games while serving as team captain for the expansion Watertown Shamrocks. In February, he was selected to participate in the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. Gingher has played in 139 career games over 3 seasons in the NAHL, recording 22 goals, 20 assists and 42 points over that span.
A veteran of 8 seasons in the OBJ program, Ryan helped lead the 2004 squad to a Mid-American district championship at the 15O level and a semi-final appearance in the 2017 Quebec International Pee-Wee Tournament. In his final three seasons in the program, Gingher tallied a total of 84 goals, 105 assists and 189 points in 176 games at the 15O, 16U and 18U levels.
Located in De Pere, WI, St. Norbert College is a perennial power at the Division III level, having won 5 national championships and 32 NCHA regular season and playoff titles. Headquartered in Duluth, MN, the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) was founded in 1980 and is regarded as one of the premier conferences in Division III hockey, with six member schools combining for 12 national championships since its inception.
